They are 5 feet long but you can take and end off and shorten them if needed. We can make them any length you want. Putting the turbo in should not of changed the length of the oil cooler lines?

Congratulations Greg!!

Just don't forget those of us with the 5/8" hoses!! (Would a deposit help?) I don't want to waste any money on the same old GM ones!

I have a question on how hard these oil lines are to replace? A few years back on a hunting trip to Kansas a buddy and I took his 94 Chevy 6.5 TD and we stopped at a rest area and the dog trailer we were towing was covered in oil. We got towed to a Chevy dealer and they replaced the lines with factory lines and it took the Mr. Goodwrench all day to change them out. I forget what all had to be removed to get the job done but it was extensive and expensive. I been thinking about mine on my 1995 6.5TD it's 2 wheel drive his was 4X4. So whats the scoop is it tough to change these lines?

It is not so tough that it should take a professional mechanic all day. When I did mine I removed the grill to get to the cooler in front of the radiator. The bracket at the rear of the engine that holds the lines can be a pain to get to.

On a 4X4 I would allow a couple of hours. First I would pull the drive shaft and oil filter adapter. I know you don't have to pull it but 20 minutes worth of up front work is by far easier than doing it with all the crap in the way. On a 2 wheel drive I should not take long at all.

I do have 5/8" lines coming and the adapter on the cooler takes you to 5/8 flare in one step.

Right now my problem is getting enough parts without waiting 2 months.

Dimsdale give me a call sometime I have a deal for you :D

Greg,

The order form says that these lines will fit a 95 or older truck with oem steel lines. Mine are aluminum. Will they still fit my truck?

Yes they will fit. I need to change it because steel is not what I meant.

Thanks Greg,

I just wanted to make sure I didn't have some odd type of lines on my truck. I sure need to replace mine, they are leaking pretty bad.

Howdy
Can you make these lines with stainless braided hose? I know it's probably overkill but I like shinny things!! I also will need the bigger lines.
Thanks for making something RIGHT!
