Howdy
Is a power steering cooler standard equipment? I have '99 1ton and took the grill off and noticed a power steering cooler. I've a 95 caprice police intercepter and it has one but other than that I've never seen one from the factory. The one on my truck is deffinently factory. I'm just wondering if it was an option or if all diesels have them.
THANKS!

My 2001 Savana has one. It is better to put an oil filter that can add close to one liter more oil in the system and keep the oil cleaner...

My 97 K3500 has one, so it might be a one ton thing.

You know for us guys with real trucks. ;)

Carey,
Sorry to bust your bubble but my 2dr Tahoe has a P.S. cooler.

My 1992 Thunderbird Super Coupe had one. So does my 03 Cobra. Do those count as "real trucks"?

Just a guess, but I think trucks with the hydroboost usually get one. Extra pumping of the fluid equals more heat.
