hi, i have a 4l80e trans from a 6.2 van, and i want to install it into my 6.2 truck. does anyone know if it's possable to use the oem computer and sensors . i thought maybe if i cut the wires short i might be able to join them up again in my truck

If you use the sensors mching the computer it should not be a problem.
Computer does not know what kind off vehicle it is in.

PS. do you have numbers or discribtion off your computer?
I have a 4L80E too but have doubts from what vehicle the computer came.
I think 6.5 electronic but is supposed to be 6.2 or 6.5 mech. :confused:

hi i don't have the comuter yet, but i do have the transmision. i want to know if it will work befor i buy it. ps the cumputer is out of the same van that the e80le came from

As I said, it should work.
Let me know when you have the computer so we can compare.

Just one piece off advice, have it together and working by next year and bring it along to the Euro rendesvous! :D
