Stock lb7, no mods. Random dead pedal that has almost got me killed twice. Be driving along and suddenly no throttle. Just goes to idle. Trun the truck on and off 2-3-4-5 times and it starts working like normal. it may work for 2 months or 2 minutes. I have replaced the APP sensor/ throttle pedal assembly 3 times with ACdelco part. Replaced the FICM, truck worked great for 1000 miles, this morning, pulling into traffic, lost pedal again. Turn the truck on and off 4-5 times, it starts working again and I drive it home. Its dangerous as hell. The dealership and 3 other diesel shops cannot find the problem. I need help. All connections have been removed and cleaned, the truck has ZERO codes when this happens. Its like the throttle is unplugged. The truck will idle only. Put it on a good snap on scanner and found no codes, set, stored, or pending. I'm lost. Any help would be appreciated

Any other symptoms when this happens... like missing lights, dash function, radio, A/C anything.

With what you've done so far to troubleshoot (or have replaced), you may want to consider a faulty ignition switch.

Also, the underhood electrical center should be looked at. The LB7s are getting a bit long in the tooth, and those trucks that have been exposed to road de-icer will tend to have more electrical gremlins due to corrosion. Jim
