View Full Version : Where to find a Headlight switch light bulb?

1996 GMC Sierra 6.5D

My headlight switch light bulb is out and I'm having a heck of a time trying to find a new one. I don't need the entire switch the bulb. Very tiny with a blue cover over it.

The standard mini lights used in the dash don't work . .

Anybody have any ideas? Maybe part numbers . . .

No luck getting any replies? Surprised someone hasn't chimed in yet. Maybe this will bring you back to the surface.

I wasn't aware they were replaceable, at least routine. If you can identify the bulb, I see no reason you can't replace it, if you can find it. Post some good pics of it. Perhaps it has a number on it. Often, those numbers can't be seen with the naked eye, but can be with a digital pic. I use this method for seeing tiny print on PCBs and small components.

This might be close. This guy is really nice and seems to know his stuff. You might email him and ask it he has a fit.
