Hey guys! New to the page. I have a 94 2500 6.5l.
So I was daily driving my truck, it was sitting for maybe just over a day and I went to go start it and it just cranks but doesnt want to fire. I changed out the fuel filter and nothing changed. There's white smoke coming from the exhaust so I think it's still getting some amount of fuel. Anyone experience these problems or have any ideas?

Welcome to TDP :):)

White smoke is un-burned fuel.

Glow plugs

Does the glow plug lamp come on and go off when you turn the ignition on ????

Check to be sure the glow relay is putting 12V to the plugs.

Check the plugs to see if they are working.

Pull the plugs on the Drivers side (Easy to get to)

Be sure there is power to the plugs...
Possibly the glow relay is bad
If there is power to the plugs then you may have bad plugs.

Screw in four Delco 60G plugs.

4 will get it going....

Keep us in the loop.

So took a better look at it and I guess my valve cover leaks because my glow plugs are covered in oil.. anyways that's a project for another day lol. All terminal ends broke off of the glow plugs.cracked open the female terminal and they're soaked in oil, so I guess that might play a roll lol.
Anyways, I go to remove the glow plugs and they seem pretty seized in there, little worried of breaking the glow plugs in the head, think I'm going to soak them with some penetrating oil for a couple days before I attempt to remove them again
