OK, I have decided to do it. After watching several YouTube videos, and reading some of the posts on here I am going for it. I do have one question, is it a good idea to replace the injectors at the same time? That is an additional $300 i would rather not spend, but if it necessary?

A little background information might be helpful.

At least check the pop pressures and spray pattern

You SHOULD have all the injectors POP pressures very close to one another.

If you have any that are really low and peeing a stream rather than giving a nice cone of mist this is not good.

Getting a good set of squirts in the engine can make a world of difference in STARTING and overall operation.

Have fun....

Why are you changing the pump?
What are you changing the pump on?
Are you sure you really need to change the pump?

Scabby if your total DIY there was an article on TDP on how to build your own injector test set up using a grease gun and gauge to test pop pressure.
