John,
I just rotated my tires on my '02 half ton this weekend. My one ton next weekend. I just looked in the owner's manual (since I can't remember from time to time) for the proper torque spec. The half ton was 140 ft/lbs. Haven't looked at the one ton's manual yet. Check there.

My 95 manual says 120 lb-ft on everything but the dual wheel trucks. 3500 dual rear wheels (8-lug) are 140 lb-ft. 3500HD dual rear wheels are 175 lb-ft.

Hi John,
The 1993 owners manual doesn't list a K2000 but does give the torque for a

C-K 2500 (w/C6P) 8 bolts (14mm) 120 ft. lbs. (160 N-m)

Catch you later

Hi Alan,
Leaping Lizards I don't even know what truck I have owned for the past 9 years. I finally got off my a$$ and wen and referred to my owners manual. your right 120 ft lbs.
Did you get the body work done on your Duramax?

I let you off the hook because I figured it was a typo, ;)
Dmax is still beaten up -- I did order the parts last week, picking up a Ranchhand rear bumper from Arlington WA. on about the 24th, tailight and other minor stuff from Chev. I think the body work will be done in Maple Ridge (Chev dealer). I JUST KNOW WHEN I GET IT FIXED SOMEONE ELSE IS GOING TO REAR END ME  -- at least the Ranch Hand will hold up better than the stock tin can Chevy bumper.
Got :D two :D Limited entry Hunting tags Bison & Moose so we are going to have a busy fall.
