What is engine and transmision worth

I am probably going to swap my 4l80e auto for an NV4500. Since I am going to this trouble thinking about shoe horning a cummins in also, perhaps a 4BT would be easier than the 6.

Anyway if I do I will have a 99 6.5TD and 4l80e trans for sale. 93000 miles, IP replaced at 57k and FSD replaced at 89K. What are they worth?

Seems like salvage yards get about $2500 for the motor and $800-1100 for the trans.

Sounds about right for prices in our area. Check ebay for prices on used 6.5s and transmissions. That will generally give you an idea of what they're worth.
Let me know if you decide to sell them. I'm looking for a tranny.

$3000-3500 if the tranny is 4WD version. Subtract $300-500 if 2WD. Prices for 6.5 stuff are dropping rapidly.

THE CUMMINS 6BT WILL FIT JUST FINE. KEN AT AUTOWORLD IN MONTANA HAS DONE OVER 300 CUMMINS CONVERSIONS IN MOST ALL MAKES AND STYLES. YOU MIGHT WANT TO CONSULT HIM 1ST OR LET HIM DO IT CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME. IM GOING IN THIS SPRING FOR MY CONVERSION FROM HIM. 97 CUMMINS IN A 97 CHEVY AND SO-LONG 6.5 PEICE OF JUNK!!!!!
