That's probably a better question for John Kennedy, or someone who deals with them more intimately. Reman choices are probably dependent on the source, more so than just being reman'd. Also, "new" may not actually mean new, but reman's from a common source, packaged as new. It may or may not be important at all.

Good advice for buying nearly any diesel fuel injection part is to: "buy from a legit, known reliable source." The specter of being forced to do the job twice makes spending a few extra bucks worth it.
