Finally added viagra to my newly rebuilt Duramax engine and it mated with the Allison!...My question is for anyone who can assist is the bolts to bolt up the trans dipstick tube after installing the 3" PPE down pipe? This engine has been apart since November, finally getting close!. Any images or anything would be helpful. Appreciate any help!

Generally, all GM engines were assembled as a complete engine. Then, they are mated to the transmission at the vehicle assembly plant. This means, for example, that the transmission dipstick pipe was bolted onto the bellhousing bolts after the transmission was bolted on. GM used bolts that had threads on both ends with the hex in the middle. That bolt allowed the transmission to be bolted on, and then the dipstick pipe added later.

I tried to get a photo, but even with my bore scope I couldn't see it well enough... Could probably see it from beneath the truck, but... Hope this helps... Jim

This is likely what will get you taken care of.
Very commonly used to allow fastening brackets to the rear of the power pack

These should be a 10mm IIRC
