While changing the oil pump and oil pan gasket when the dual mass fly wheel went to crap,I noticed the timing chain had alot of play in it on both sides ,could this be causing the timing to jump back and forth and causing the injection systemto not want to let the truck start? just a thought. Thanks! Yep! this is another problem with the big blue lemon from 94!

Depending on how long you want to keep the 94, you may wish to go with gears, rather than the chain. Its more responsive, accurate valve and injection pump timing. You would almost think its a new engine. However a new chain may be cheaper for the parts only, the labor would be about the same. smile.gif
