wiper recall

I know that this has been covered in depth before, BUT. I made my appt with the dealer to fix my wipers, that only work when I dont need them. I was told since my '94 with 213K on the ole girl is past the grace period that GM put out. Is that true, or is he blowing smoke up my you know what. Does somebody have the page where GM states exactly what is covered and not? Thanks for your help!

Try calling a different dealer and ask them if there are any open recalls on it. They need the vin to check.
If they won't cover it, you can fix it yourself with a soldering in less time that it takes to go to the dealer.
