Anyone used a 3.5" Flowmaster Tailpipe kit?

If anyone has tried the Flowmaster tailpipe kit, I'd like to hear how it worked out, what you think of it.

I have a Gibson 3.5"-4" chrome tip on a JK 3.5" exhaust system. Works/looks great.

I had a custom shop do my exhaust, 3" straight back to a 18" glasspak and 4.5" chrome tip. I asked them if I could go bigger but they told me that I would not get any more performace because the downpipe and crossover are 3".

He explained it this way, your home plumbing is usually 3/4", then necks down to 1/2", if it then goes back to a 3/4" pipe it will not do you any good because you are only getting the flow from a 1/2" pipe. Therefore a waste to go to bigger pipes. Made sense to me
