My truck runs fine... starts a little harder than when I first bought it, but no real trouble.
I think I'm getting old, or if I'm lucky, maybe I've reached a state of zen-oneness with my truck. I can now hear my liftpump banging away like a pair of newly-wed rabbits every time I drive it. I hear it more at stops, but I can hear it at highway speeds too.
Does anyone else hear their liftpump all the time too? or is there something "wrong" or is it just me?

I can't hear mine....but I'm borderline deaf...too much loud rap music as a kid I guess.

The only way I can tell if my LP is working is to put hands on. Can't hear it,can only feel that it's working.
I'd say your's is going,may be bad.

Chuck,

The pump "run-on" is due to there being a delay while the oil pressure switch shuts off, and the pump stops.

The delay is longer with lower temps, and thicker oil, taking a bit longer to work it's way out of the OPS.
