I was heading home from the cape this morning and looked down to see the tach at zero and the coolant temp over 210 so I pulled over and find the serp belt off and the vac pump pulley not lind up. I grabbed the pulley and it broke off in my hand. The pump turns fine so it's not locked up.
I made it home by wrapping electrical tape around the tensioner pulley to make it bigger, full roll of tape, put the belt back on and it was a little loose but it worked.

How far did you make it on the duct tape?

I drove it like that for about 40 miles. When it broke I called my brother to bring down the flat bed and while I was waiting I figured out a plan and it worked. I just drove till we crossed paths and then loaded it on the trailer.

I have a Turbo Master but not sure if I like it or not yet, it's been on and off a few times. I never towed with it though and plan on doing so soon as I have a few long trips towing coming up.
