If you are refering to the 6.5L project truck....well, its doing great! I drive it almost every day and its got about 165,000 miles on it now....still making 14-15lbs of boost and haven't had to repair or replace any major engine components yet! The old girl even get 17-18 mpg too...

How is that mileage compaired to the PS

Real close, the PS gets about 19 on the highway, and a little better economy than the 6.5L pulling heavier loads. But in all fairness the PS has 3:73 gears and the 6.5L has 4:10

I followed your build and it seems like you did it all right. Is the oil still as clean between changes.By the time I change mine in my 94 it,s some black. But it dosn,t burn any between changes

I use Rotella 5w-40 Synthetic, it seems to stay real clean for the first 2000 miles or so, then starts to darken up...It does not burn any oil between changes either. I change it every 3000-3500 miles. The last oil analysis I had done indicated that everything was fine. With the new DSG oil cooler and line kit it holds just shy of 8 quarts of oil now.

How much cooler do you think the oil and engine are running with the new cooler? Also are the lines the same size as the 1998 up grade.
