I was picking up lunch yesterday and sitting in the drive thru. I just got my guages finished so was staring at my new x-monitor while waiting. Tranny temp was around 140 just in park.
I was hot so I hit my A/C switch. Tranny went right to 160. Within less then a second. Turned off the A/C and it went back down. Turned it on and it went back up.
Repeat until the food was ready.
Is this normal behavior? I was just idling in park but there was no delay in the temp changing. I'm more concerned something is wired wrong as it seemed there was no way the tranny could change as quick as it did.
