1) Despite installing Kennedy light harness, the dims still seem too dim. Scanning other similar vehicles at night (as best I can), it looks like this is "normal". Is there anything else I can do to improve the brightness and/or range of the dims? Would an HID install on the dim circuit be of value?
2) Gas and oil gauges (only) provide "readings", i.e. non-zero values, with ignition off. Helm points to a common ground, G404, which I cannot seem to find. Is: a) this a good place to be troubleshooting this problem? b) is this ground somwhere above the fuel tank or other hard to get to place?
