Stupid question, "C" emblem on 6.5L head pre-cups

I've got a set of 6.5L heads, one head is cracked, but I don't care because all I want are the pre-cups for putting into a set of 6.2L heads. Anyways, the heads have pre-cups with a large square looking C cast into them, does this really mean C series cups? I am familiar with seeing T cups on 6.5TD heads, but this was new to me.

I'd be leary of doing that if the 6.2 head has the angled injectors. The opening in the pre cup might be in a different location based on how the injector points in the cup.
