If i change to mechanical pump, what happens with the turbocharger (assuming that there is no pcm in this set-up), can I still use it ....what happens with boost control???

Also is it easy to swap from a electronic to a mechanical pump, are there too many mods to be done in the fuel lines ??

Still not decided to perform this mechanization...

first, to control the turbo you will need something like a "turbo master". This is a unit designed to control the wastegate with out use of the vac pump sys. You can find them at Bill Heath's website.

Next, if you have a standard shift the swap wont be to bad. Just need throttle cable and matching pedal assy, throttle bracket ect.

if auto trans, you will need a means of control for it. there are several options, ill let those who have done the swap fill in more.

Much of it depends on what years from/to. The mechanical parts all operate the same, but the means to control them differ, depending on the year and technology of that year, as well as the hardware involved. Some are difficult, some are less difficult.

In any case, we'll need to know the year and powertrain options you have to help. It may be easier than you think, or you may run away screaming.
