Have 94 Surb 2500 6.5 Turbo. Will start ok in the moring after sitting all night and will run good, no stalling. But once engine has been started and shut off for .50 hr to 3 hoours go back to start very rough start and "Service engine soon" light comes on. Codes that I get are DTC 17,18,35. I should say that I can avoid codes if I don't wait for glow plugs then seem to not trip codes. Once I get codes though will now run rough because of PCM in fixed mode. Reset PCM to 12 and drive will now stall sometimes when braking and will get DTC 17,18,35,36. I am starting to run down the circuits (from what I can tell it is a new injection pump so starting with the connection) and need to find the PCM. Manual says PCM is in the passenger area but does not say where. Any ideas on fixs would be most welcome also.
