I know it is 120,000 miles but for how many years? Also, does this warranty apply to any owner (not the original)?

I currently have my eye on a 94 GMC K2500 pickup with only 66,000 miles on the truck (has the 6.5 engine). It is going to be auctioned off and is listed as "has injector problems."

I wonder if possibly the pump is bad and they never had it replaced?

If I can get the VIN # off of it, I think I can go to any dealer and find out what work was done on it.

The warranty is 11 years from date of original purchase (delivery date) and is valid to any owner. Being a '94, the warranty is close to expiration, if it hasn't already.

At 66K, don't rule out the injectors. Original injectors can be expected to need replacement between 75-120K. It could have pump problems. If so, better find out the original delivery date by having a dealer run the vin before you buy. You could also use it as a bargaining chip with the seller. The seller's failure to have it repaired under warranty could cost the buyer unnecessary expense.
