Several months ago I installed my turbomaster and just this weekend got around to installing my guages.(boost, pyro, trans temp)
I had set the turbo master according to the instructions with the spring length @ 2 1/8" for the advertised 7lbs of boost. Todays test with the guages in tells me I'm pegging 15 lbs with the pyro @ 900 degrees.(pre-turbo)
Crusing(65 mph) pyro temp is 650-700F and boost is 3-4 psi. Tranny was happy @ 125F, though it was only about 5-6 miles.
Has anyone else had this happen? I will call Heaths tomorrow, but just curious what could cause this. Thanks
Dave

IIRC, two different springs are speced for the TM, depending upon whether or not you're running with a performance ECM. In the stock form, you should have a lightweight, silver colored spring. The performance ECM requires the heavy-duty spring.

Do you have the EGR valve on your 97? i have been wanting to get the Turbo-master but am not sure about the computer throwing codes.

Mine has a silver colored spring. EGR has no effect from the TM.
