Does it seem to run better with the 195 or the 180.
What are your experiences?

Tried both. I like the 195's better.

The take is that the hotter thermostat is more efficent and produces better ecconomy and power. The trick is to keep it cool when pulling as to not crack heads, hence the cooling upgrades that many of us do.

I personally think my outfit runs better and more efficiently with 195's

195's work best IMHO, so long as a guy has a good cooling system, AND a lower calibrated fan clutch to ensure that there is no overtemp.

Using the temp gauge on the dash ... how hot is too hot to cause damage?
