I recently had heads replaced due to excess air/pressure in reservoir and coolant being forced out of reservoir. truck was still performing well. Question: since replaced heads/bolts and all associated gaskets, does the truck timing or tdc offset need any adjustment? truck has 201,000 miles on it, still runs good, no smoking...wasn't sure if all the new "tighter" valves/parts etc would require any other adjustments. Also what would be optimal timing and tdc offset for 95 6.5l stock engine other than 3" exhaust.. Thanks.

As long as you didn't move the injection pump, no timing change is necessary. You can adjust the timing to -1.94 TDC but the use of an exhaust pyrometer is recommended. This new timing will ease starting and can add a little more performance.
