Got my truck back from the dealer a few days ago after IP replacement. Truck works great now so I check under the hood. Oil cap off lying on top of the engine; no big deal. Then I notice the black tubular gizmo that plumbs into the the rubber part of the intake is hanging off leaving a gaping hole for unfiltered air to rush in. Then I notice the CDR inlet is also hanging off with no hose clamp.
Man that burns me seeing sloppy work like that at my expense. I could have gone the whole dusty summer like that. God knows what is done that I can't see. The only bright spot is that GM covered the pump. So the moral is...... Check your work, but don't trust anyone else's either.
