Hard Shifting "Banging Into Gear", w/Grinding Gears? Coming To Stop

I guess I have caught a case of those dreaded controller ghosts.

My Burb has 3 controllers;
1: for the IP,
2: w/tranny intergrated into IP controller, and 3: for the t-case (autotrac)w/3 speed sensors.

I start the motor, as always idle it for about 3 minutes, but this time, put it into reverse "it bangs into gear", back out of driveway and shift into drive, it now bangs violently from 1 gear to the next, then has grinding noise coming to stop. While this was going on I noticed the idle was higher than normal like the cruse control resume was engaged.

Anyway, shut the motor down restarted with the tranny and idle now being normal.

I am at a loss here, seems to be nothing but ^#%@% trouble since my accident!

Any thoughts?

Run by a tranny shop have it scanned many will do it as part of free diagnostic, sounds like pressure control solenoid (internal) to trans may be starting to act up.

I will make a guess. in florida, not really cool
enough for the fast idle, so really fast idle,
and resulting " bang "

I notice this some what in JAX....

I try to unload Drive train by shifting into neutral
for a moment, lets idle stablize and lowers
pressure in transmission. Not sure, but i think applying brakes also unloads transmission.

May want to check drive train " slop "

Turns out to be water, front diff and tranny!

In the tranny shop now.
