GLOW PLUGS

TWICE MY GLOW PLUG DID NOT COME ON. AFTER TURNING THE IGNITION ON & OFF SEVERAL TIMES THEY CAME ON. THIS HAPPENED ONCE LAST NIGHT AND ONCE TONIGHT? ANY IDEAS AS TO WHAT MIGHT BE CAUSING THIS? THANKS

Although the original post was written quite awhile ago,i'll put a reply in anyway....it could help someone else..... smile.gif i had the same problem with my chevy 6.2 and with my olds diesel since i'm using a 6.2 electronic glow plug controller,but i feel that the main problems with those systems are the 4 pin connector setup or a bad connection at the glow plug temperature inhibit swtich.If you've got a high resistance connection at either of these two points,the glow plugs will never energize.......another possiblity is a poor ground connection leading away from the 4 pin connector......
