I Have a 6.2 with a banks turbo. When running the engine with the hose from the turbo to the intake removed, a gray/white smoke is coming out. Is this normal? If not, could it be contributing to the increase in engine operating temperature I've been experiencing?

If the vapor is coming from the air cleaner, it's normal blow by gases coming from the CDR valve - same as if you'd left the oil filler cap off.

I forgot about that connection. That would explain the smoke/gasses. Thanks
