How long should it take a shop to install a tranny, torque converter, and tv cable?

Already getting raped, but I would like some lube.

Less than an hour in a shop with a lift, highlift tranny jack, and air tools. About 2 hours in my driveway with only a tranny jack and jack stands. That's by myself. With one more set of good hands (and back), it should take about half that. Even did it once on a sloped driveway....That was fun! I don't take union breaks.

Once the tranny is already built, shouldn't take more than a day, the 4x4's are more fun though, splitting transfer case, etc.

I've done it several times, all on 4WD, all on sloped driveway (sucks!). The first time took 3-4 hours; the last few times took about an hour. I never split the transfer case, it was already mounted to the trans and I just lifted it in as a unit and secured everything? What are you referring to, John? Did I miss something?
