ATS turbo 6.2

What can I do to perk up a 6.2 with ats turbo? I want to put it into my 90 sub and make it very drivable. The 700 tran does not seem to have a lock up torc converter is that easily changable? I want the performance but I also want the mileage. Do you have any Ideas? The engine does not have any diesel sound to it at all. Cranks and runs good thou. Thanks nape

No clatter can be a sign of:

1. Worn IP pump
2. Worn injectors
3. Pump timing too retarded and/or worn timing chain
4. Low compression
5. Weak lift pump
