refresh a take out

I have a hmmwv 6.2 take out that I'm gonna be swapping in and just wanted some tips on what take care of before I drop it in. I have timing gears and will be replacing the head gaskets and bolts "inspecting the pistons" and wondered if I should put new seals in the heads or rear main and what to look for durring a once over!

I would check the heads for cracks between the valves and definately replace the rear main seal. Also inspect the block main webbing for cracks and the harmonic balancer for any signs of damage.
