The IP number on my Blazer is DB 2829- 4267J. GM 14077179. Ser. No: 5054001.

According to the list this is a 1984-85 Heavy Duty pump. Could anyone tell me what the

Every pump that I have either C or J has the "J" on it, I don't have a clue what it means. I'm sure however, that this J is not the same J as the vin specification for HD.

Looks like someone swapped out the pump for the better there though.

My militairy pump is DB2829-4267J ser.# 5070979.

Don't know if it helps but just so you have something to compare.

My pump must be a militairy pump as is got the same number as yours DB2829-4267J.

Hi,
I am new to the diesel world & this board. I just bought a 1982 6.2L Chevy and ordered a injector pump (Old pump is DB2-4126, GM: 14050587). AutoZone sent a rebuilt DB2829 4502 J, GM: 23500400. Will this pump work on my 1982 6.2L?

Also, I am converting this truck to run on SVO. Anybody had experience in doing this? I am tired of paying trans-national oil companies through the nose; I rather pay an American farmer.
