has anyone upgraded to a 10 blade clock wise composite fan used on the A1 hmmwv?? if so does it bolt to the existing fan clutch or does it need the hmmwv clutch??

The hummer fan won't bolt to a CK clutch, and a hummer clutch won't bolt to a regular CK water pump pulley.

Hummers have a 4 groove pulley with a wierd pressure plate style fan clutch that has a special mating with the pulley.

I have a hmmwv 6.2 take out with the hmmwv clutch and pulley, there is a device on the end that spins freely and has a small opening for some kind of hose???? does this activate the clutch?? sound like I would be stuck with the 87gpm hmmwv water pump if I went this route? what's different about it??

I think that nipple hooks up to a coolant line, and then locks for clutch engagement.

You would be stuck with a clockwise rotation water pump. 87 gpm is factory, and peninsular has a 110 gpm pump - I've used the latter on my engine with good success.
