How do I determine weather or not the waterpump is a high volume pump when looking at the pump?

Same question for the oilpump.

If other than the turbo your engine is stock, then it's unlikely that you have either.

A Pen 100 GPM CW rotation pump has no markings on it different from a stock GM pump. A 97+ 130 GPM CCW rotation pump has "HO" stamped on it near the 12 o clock position.

IIRC, high volume oil pumps were introduced in 97 with oil spray pistons. It looked the same as my old 6.2L pump when I installed one.

Yepp mine are not but I had a look at some used not used part that are supposed to come from a 6,5 -99, so I figuered I would like to know what it is. smile.gif

By the way, is that CCW seen from front of engine?

Yup. As if you were standing at the grill looking at the engine. V-belt water pumps turn CW, and serpentine CCW.
