Oil pump questions

I am getting a newer style oil pump for my old 83 engine which gets low oil pressure. Which type is best? I have found clevite, melling, and the expensive one from the dealer. Does it even matter? I think I can get the clevite one this weekend, but for the others I would have to wait.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Never used a Clevite oil pump.

I'd go with the Melling pump or the GM pump if it were me.
