Which aftermarket rotors should I order to fit my M1028 CUCV with Dana 60 upfront? Recommendations and part numbers appreciated!

I don't think you can go wrong with Raybestos as far as anything brake-related is concerned. Sorry I don't have a part number, though!

Any Chev D60 rotor. Good luck, they're not cheap.

Not sure if the Ford ones will work, but they may cross. Check around with Dynatrac and some of the axle companies as they may be able to offer you a better price.

Raybestos is good, but in that size, a rotor is a rotor is a rotor. Unless you're actually towing heavy loads or getting the pads to the point they're smoking, any warranted rotor should be acceptable.

I just priced them at auto zone, they're Canadian made rotors so the steel should be comparable to any US made parts. The were under 50 dollars each. And just to clarify those are for the D60 rotor, heres the info.

AIMCO BRAKE ROTOR - FRONT for a 1985 CHEVROLET TRUCK K30 1 TON P/U 4WD
Unit Price: $47.99
Core Value*: $0.00
Part No.: 5563

Thanks Erik! Presumably the K30 has the Dana 60 front axle then, the same as the CUCV?

I've found that they all use stock gm parts, just that the years don't corespond with the civilian model years. After three years of owning one i have changed out most of the common parts that tend to go. If you ever need any more let me know.
Cheers,

Hey Wilf, Did your CUCV come with the stencils still visable? If so what stencil(s) appear on the front bumper?
