For the past few weeks my truck has been acting ugly...it would crank slowly some days, do fine on others, then a time or two it wouldn't crank at all. I was about to blame the starter but then I discovered it was the battery cables not making a good connection, so I fixed that and all was well...but then, last week it would barely turn over...jumped it off my little VW, recharged the batteries and it started fine. Next day, no dice. So off to Sears I go for two new Die Hards....clean all the connections like I'm going to eat off them, put in new battery cable bolts and everything....now...
that truck starts like it's never started since I've owned it. Used to take a couple seconds cranking time...now it starts just as soon as I turn the key. I guess the glow plugs are getting hotter now too with a better connection to them too. Just thought I'd pass it on 'cause it almost fooled me. tongue.gif
