While changing a starter the bolt thats used for the nose support bracket went to the parts"black hole" .Its the one that goes into the block . I have a 1983 GMC J block 6.2. Help!!!

IIRC the last time I changed a started that bolt used a 7/16" socket, which would make it either a 1/4-20 or 1/4-28. I'd bet on the 1/4-20.
