Anyone out there know where to find a wiring schematic for the 88 Suburban? Mine has a bunch of previous-owner installed weird wiring, and has some erratic behaviors with 700R4 lockup and glow systems. I'd like to sort out the electrical wheat from the chaff, but have no sources. Also looking for a factory shop manual. Thanks

The schematic will be in the shop manual. It should still be available from the printer - new. I bought one for my '86 when I purchased it in November, so the '88's should be available. Over $100, but well worth the $.

watch on ebay sometimes the books can be found on there for cheap.

Kevin. Who is the printer? I checked at Helm.com, and nothing for the 88 Burb comes up. Thanks.

Check with your public library. Mine has been very helpful with Helms publications. You can usually make copies right there with no problems.
