Here is a tip for speeding up OEM leaf spring bush removal (Pictures of puller in action and hole saw (http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4288895161)):

If you don't have a press and don't want to use a torch, try using a hole saw that will fit between the spring eye and the inner sleeve to weaken the bush, then use a puller with a 1/2"-3/8" socket adaptor (or your favorite implement that will fit) as a pilot and eject the inner sleeve.

Once the sleeve is out, try drilling out as much as you can with a hole saw, then use a stout screwdriver/pry bar to push/pull out the last of the rubber.

Finish up with an air or cold chisel to drive/cut out the spring eye sleeve (only if your new bushes require it to be removed).
