Will the typical arrangement of 4 tranny bolts on an engine stand support this engine? I have my 6.2 out and I want to R&R the timing chain and gears, valve cover gaskets and also possibly change the rear main seal. Any other regular maintenance issues I should perform at this point? My compression is good at 400 psi each cylinder.
Thanks, Richard

Yes the four bolts work.
I have an H type 1000lb stand.
I am not sure if you would want to use one of the T type 500 or 750 stands.

I used a T stand, but I wouldn't do it again. With the engine fully dressed, that thing has to weight nearly 850 pounds.

Thanks for the info. I just ordered a 2000 lb Troy folding stand from Maxtool for $90.00. I'm slightly amazed that four bolts can hold that thing up. I guess you need grade 8 bolts.
