I just wanted to say Thanks to TDP and its members for all the info and help when it came to doing the cooling upgrades on my 1994 6.5TD.

My truck always ran a little on the warm side especially with the AC on. Now with the 1997 high volume pump and dual thermostats it runs at 90 degrees C (194 deg F) with the AC on in city driving. Without the AC on, I am hard pressed to get it over 85 deg C (185 deg F) in warm weather. I also added the fan clutch and 21" Duramax fan from DSG, which is much quieter and pulls al ot more air. As a bonus, it fit with only a bit of die grinding to the lower fan shroud.

I researched on Kennedy Diesels' page as well and modified my upper intake (it is an "S" engine) and die ground out the extra flashing that was there, opened up the air box a bit as well and installed a 3" mandrel bent downpipe from the turbo.

I did not install any extra guages (boost, Pyro, etc) as that will have to wait for another day!

Thanks again guys for all the help! smile.gif
