I just got my diesel not too long ago and want to get diagnostics done on it to see what I need to fix. It was my fathers and sat around for a few years. I have a new oil pump, water pump, injection pump, and injectors on it. I think it may have a head gasket leak, and want someone who knows more to check it out. Does anyone know of a good GM diesel mechanic that would be able to do just diagnostics on it? I don't really want to go to the stealership because they seem to know less about it than I do. What else should I have a mechanic check for?
