View Full Version : Romp romp and lotsa smoke?

A few questions for you guys. What causes the romping and what can I do to fix it? Also, I didn't have time to change my oil last week so I brought it to the dealer. I decide to check the dipstick today and see that the oil is three inches above the fill line! Then I look on the fan shroud and see that someone wrote 9.5L on it. Maybe that's how much oil tey put in it? What do you guys think? Thanks.

Perhaps they forgot to drain the old oil before they put the new stuff in. --Nick

A fule leak will show up as over full on the oil dipstick.

The lopey idle on my 02 was corrected with an ECM update.

Are you sure it's not a PS 6.0?? A freinds 6.0 has both of these problems. ;)

AFP, you're right. The tech said that fuel was getting through the injector. I don't know which one but my buddy (service manager:) changed all of them. All is good now. Thanks.
