Service intervals ?

Hi,
I have purchased a New 2005 Crew Cab 2500 HD p/u with the Duramax/Allison Combo and the owners manual supplement that I have does not give an oil change mileage it just says go by the message center for the oil life percentage. It also says the same thing for the fuel filter. SO what do you all recommend for the amount of miles that I should go before changing the oil, fuel filter and the air filter ? This truck will be a daily driver 95% of the time and tow a camper occaisionally. Your advice would be appreciated cause I am used to my old 6.5 so I will have to learn about this new engines service routine.Thanks Davis

I advise customers to change their oil and fuel filter @ about 1500 miles the first time and every 5K there after w/ a fuel filter every other oil change. also don't forget to change the spin on Allison filter @ the first oil change then service it every 50K.
