Are you all aware of this website? http://shop.ivalueinternet.com/duramax/ It appears to have good prices on a lot things like filters, exhausts systems, intake systems, and parts, and all kinds of goodies.

Ordered Fuel Filters for the Duramax at $14.08 each and were delivered in 7 days. I haven't found filters at that price anywhere else.

Thanks for the tip. I need air filters and they are 8 dollars cheaper than I can buy them in the store.

I noticed they don't list the A 1618C air filter (or the Fleetguard Equivalent) for the 2003 Duramax - only the A 1518C. Anyone know the difference between the A 1518C and A 1618C?

In the 2002 owner's manual, air filter **518C is listed for the Vortec 6000/8100 V-8. The Duramax Diesel Supplement lists A 1618C, which is a high capacity air filter.

Thanks Roadawg..

If you use the BaldwinFilter.com website to cross-reference both the A 1618C and the A 1518C filter to their respective Baldwin equivalents, it shows both filters to be the same dimensions. So, they both will fit the Duramax, but it seems we should probably be using the A 1618C or equivalent.
