Is there something special to know about using GM Parts direct? I put in the year and the model and tell it to look for filters and it says it can't find any? What is the real story, how do you buy anything from here. I have also put in the oil filter number and no results were found?

Roger:

I can relate to that. It appears that the search facility on GMPartsDirect.com is lacking.

The best way to get something is to have the GM part number and search by it.

Has anyone else had success using their vehicle search function??

Look for oil filters, fuel filter, transmission filter. You would think it would be under filters but it's not. It seems each of the GM dealer sites are different.

Happy hunting!!! ;)

Try www.ac-direct.com

I have ordered filters there and have had a great experience.

I order from them all the time but I always have to get part number somewhere else first.

I e-mailed them & told them what I had and what I was looking for. They responded within a couple hours with all the part numbers.

They do not have their catalog updated for 2003 yet. I think if you search under 2002 model you will find the filters

By the time you add shipping it's higher than
going to a dealer.
