Turbo Spool - UP

I am now driving my fourth D-max. I am finding that the one I just purchsed seems to have an extra long hesitation pior to the turbo kicking in. I'm not in the habbit of smoking tires, however, it is nice to know you have got the power. With this truck I can't even do a brake stand on wet pavement. My turbo just won't kick in. Does anyone know what I might do??? Is there a fix??

Check your air box, maybe that foil piece on the left side of it has come loose, and is restricting your air flow, causing your turbo not to spool up as fast. You could always add a 4" free flowing exhaust system also!!
